Before training as a therapist, I spent over a decade working with adults, children and young people across media, education and theatre in the UK and internationally.
My work in media included creating content for BBC programmes such as Blue Peter and BBC Children in Need.
I am also a qualified primary school teacher (PGCE), with experience supporting children and young people with a wide range of needs, including SEND.
Across this work, I supported individuals and families navigating challenges such as anxiety, bereavement, physical disability and life-limiting illness. What stayed with me was how differently people carry distress, resilience and hope and how important it is to feel safe, understood and supported.
My interest in therapy grew through my work with young people and families, alongside a personal understanding of the impact this work can have. This led me to develop a deeper interest in how the mind works and how lasting change happens.
Today, I bring together psychotherapy, hypnotherapy and practical neuroscience to support adults, children and young people in finding a greater sense of calm, confidence and clarity.
Alongside one-to-one work, I also deliver workshops and talks for schools and organisations on resilience, emotional wellbeing and understanding the mind.
